on Soros' role in the global capital market and his
William Rees-Mogg visited China on October 11,
1999 on the invitation of "People's Daily", China's

economic development policies of China's current leadership. Over ten years ago, George Soros tried to lead the Chinese down
the same road that Russia travelled, i.e., 'shock therapy.' The Chinese did well to not listen to Soros, then, and would do
well to not listen to Soros now. More on this later.
